We had a bunch of teenagers that were on a scavenger hunt and would be in front of us at every door. So then of course the person goes in their house to find things for the teens hunt and we'd be standing there waiting for candy. Don't mess with a mom that has 3 kids in tow with no drink, no coat and NO CHOCOLATE to keep her busy! (My kids don't share well! lol) I was so irritated that it would take my kids 5-10 mins to get from one house to the next because of these kids. I just wanted to yell at them, 'Walgreens is 1 mile down the road. Take 5 bux and go bu your scavenger hunt shit there and let all the kids get their candy damn it!' I'm 18 & started college this fall, and I handed out candy with my bf at our apartment and I had TONS of kids I was in high school with last year come trick or treat us! some of them were juniors last year - seniors this year. So I was handing out candy to kids who are probably not even a full year younger than my considering i'm kinda young for my grade. Just crazy. How can they not be embarrassed? I went at 13 and felt awkward then so I quit after that. it's crazy. I know what you mean about the teenagers!
