Pageant Challenge #1
Beauty
This first challenge is “what does beauty mean to me”. Of course, in true Miss Blondie fashion, I could have gone with a whole post of sarcastically talking about myself but, i thought I would go a different route. I want to be creative, unique and think outside the box. Now, I’m not gonna sit here and say how, “Beauty is everything,” because that’s just what ugly people say. KIDDING! I don’t really think that. But I do think that everyone is gonna say things like that. Being completely honest, I do think that beauty in people comes from within and shines through on the outside. I think if you learn to appreciate the little things in life, life will become more beautiful.
I did a video to India Arie’s song Video because if you listen to the words, I think it was totally fitting for this challenge. I wanted to portray how material things and trends don’t make you beautiful. Beauty is being comfortable with who you are just the way you are. I also added some quotes in this video, so i watch it all the way through.
**Yeah, this video is not 8 minutes long…its only like 3 1/2 min. The last 5 min are a black screen, i screwed something up in editing!
