Sleepwalking

I wrote a post over a year ago on this topic and somehow I can’t find it.  It must have gotten accidentally deleted at some point. Anyways the point of that post was about how Hunter is a sleepwalker and how he sleepwalked out of my grandmother’s house one night.  Well that was the worst thing he has ever done in his sleep.  It usually consists of him walking out onto the couch or talking to me.  Until last night that is….

So here i was, sitting on the computer at around 11:30pm or so when I hear him get up.  He walks out of his room and i watch him as he goes into the kitchen.  I assume its to get a drink.  But then I hear this noise.  I’m clueless as to what it is, so I call out to him and ask what he’s doing.  I get gibberish in return. Aaah, he’s sleepwalking.  The noise continues, so i get up and go into the kitchen.  I turn the light on and…….

He’s standing next to the trash peeing!  He’s peeing in the trash, only he missed and was hitting the side of the trash and peed all over the floor!!

I call his name a few times to wake him up and when he does, you can see the look of confusion on his face as he’s standing with his wiener hanging out and in a puddle of pee.  I couldn’t help but crack up laughing.  I mean there was a urine pond in my kitchen.   I clean up the mess, still while cracking up and make him wash his hands and his feet.

So, I’m on the phone with my mother this morning and I’m telling her about it and he says to me, “Oh, that wasn’t a dream?”  I start laughing… “No, it wasn’t a dream. That was real.”

Now as funny as it is, I can’t help but think, what if he’s done it before?  What if he’s peed like in my closet or opened a drawer and peed in his dresser on his clothes….or even worse mine!  Ok, now I’m super paranoid…shit!

My nephew does this! Peed on a stack of books a few weeks ago. The creepiest thing? One night my sister found him going through his toy box. She asked him what he was doing and he said, “The people are trying to take my toys. I have to hide them.” He was dead asleep the whole time!
    Ooooooh CREEPY!

Oh my gosh! Makes me thankful I had only daughters! Although my son-in-law is a heavy-duty sleepwalker, so I wonder what will become of my grandson once he’s out of the crib! Thanks for the chuckle!

Oh wow! That’s funny. Did you see the news story about the woman who sleep-eats? She’ll get up and eat in the middle of the night while she’s fast asleep, and then wake up covered in candy bar wrappers. I’m lucky that I’ve never had problems with sleepwalking, it must be scary.

Wow! That is crazy. But odds are that your nose would clue you in if he has been peeing else where!

OMG that is hysterical! I am seriously cracking up in my cube right now!! LOL

I would be kinda freaked out too about the chance of mystery pee, but I am guessing that if it has happened before then you would’ve already smelled it! Ha ha
