I spend countless hours on my computer every day. I’m a blogger, its what we do. Now that its getting colder here in New England I’m facing the same dilemma that i face every year at this time and throughout the winter. My hand freezes. Its usually my right hand that works the mouse. Well, ValueRays has sent me their Warm Mouse in pink (for breast cancer awareness) to review.
Here’s what the site says about the Warm Mouse:
ValueRays® Warm Mouse III is a large Ergonomic Multi-Function Infrared Heated Mouse. Infrared Heat + Large Ergo Shape is healthy for the mouse hand.
ValueRays® Warm Mouse III Infrared Heat:
• Massaging effect
• Soothes aching muscles
• Relaxes tension
• Reduces stress
• Relieves hand pain
• Improves blood circulation
• Assistance for arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, RSI, CTD, Raynaud’s and other computer-related cold hand pain conditions.ValueRays® Warm Mouse III Ergonomics:
• Designed for right-handed users
• Large size allows a loose hugging hand posture
• Measures about 5 inches long by 2.25 inches wide
• Left grip thumb position
• Right grip fingers position
• Eliminates arm twisting
• Improved comfort
• More natural hand position
When I received mine, I couldn’t wait to try it out. The first thing I noticed was the shape of the mouse. It actually fits much more comfortably in my hand than my standard mouse. I did however have to stop using it after a couple hours the first time because my bicep started to ache. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing…i need to work those muscles. The dial switch for the heat is very conveniently located on the cord very close to the mouse itself. The mouse heats from 99-104 degrees Fahrenheit. I turned it up all the way (my hands get very cold) and it wasn’t burning or anything. It was a perfect temp for me except my finger tips were still a little cold. My real only complaint about this mouse is the cord is too short. Its not nearly as long as the cord to my standard mouse.
A portion of the proceeds from each purchase of the Pink ValueRays Warm Mouse III will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Fight Against Cancer!
