I’ve become such a homebody lately. Really. I would much rather hang out at home than go out at all. Which probably isn’t the worst thing, except when you’re single. In other words, I’m not putting myself out there to meet people. I haven’t gone out since I dated the jackass. And I haven’t gone out with my girlfriends since before then….so summer some time. Angie, we are long overdue girl. Oh and New Orleans doesn’t count because that was a vacation. And I did do brunch with the girls from work yesterday but that doesn’t count either.
Why doesn’t it count? Because I’m talking about going out to a bar or dancing where you can mingle and meet people. Brunch doesn’t do that and if you’re in another state, doesn’t count.
I guess at this point, or at least this moment, I’m fine being single but I think I need to get out. Throw myself back into the game. Even just to have fun. Nothing serious. Besides, the cushions on my couch are starting to sink in from my ass imprint. And if I don’t get out soon, I’m gonna start turning into the cat lady. No joke. I’ll just start collecting them. Then Hunter will be dubbed “Cat Lady’s Spawn,” and that’s no good…it could ruin his elementary school reputation. See how these things can spiral out of control?
So who wants to hit a bar or go dancing with me??

Well, I’m a little far & don’t really dance…but we can go out! I’m a homebody too. I had the chance to go out last recently w/some friends & I chose to stay in instead (not when Gena was out). I just didn’t feel like it.

Ill come down and we will get someone to watch the kids! Ill take ya out! The problem is when I do get to go out which is almost never, I tend to over due it a bit. Normally i end up throwing up on somebody, and then I am that girl that just threw up on somebody and thats even worse than being the cat lady. Anywho, as long as I force feed myself a ton before I am good.
Yeah, there will be no throwing up on me! But we’d probably have a damn good time going out!! Let’s do it!

Okay apparently I never go “out” the way you do. I would rather eat hot coals then go out dancing or to a bar. But brunch with girlfriends, that is my idea of an awesome time! I’m lame aren’t I?

It’s too freakin cold to go bar hopping right now. you should check out wine tasting or chocolate parties at local Boston restaurants or hotels they’re usually packed and you could meet some people without having to walk around Fanuel in the cold.
