Powerade Play is the first sports drink geared towards elementary aged kids. Its formulated with less sugar, more vitamins and the same great taste as regular Powerade. Another great benefit that captured my attention is that it has Powerade’s Ion4 advanced electrolyte system which helps replenish four electrolytes lost in sweat: sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. It’s important to keep our kids in a healthy condition especially when they are active. They are available in six packs of 12 oz bottles and come in four flavors which are fruit punch (delicious), mixed berry, orange and grape. This is set to hit the shelves in just a couple weeks in perfect time for spring sports.
I know I’ll most likely be stocking up on this drink for when he’s playing baseball and football this year. When I asked Hunter what he thought of the drink he said, “I love them.” I tried them as well and thought they tasted exactly like the regular ones. I honestly couldn’t even tell you how quickly they were gone. Personally, I am really excited that Powerade came out with a drink for kids because now I don’t have to water it down or feel guilty about letting him drink them constantly. This is a product I would highly recommend for all your little athletes.

Very cute pictures. Glad to know there’s a Powerade with less sugar too!
,,,thanks but no thanks for this tip. I will stick to water and will add my own sugar and a little salt and coloring. I read the label today–why is sugar the second thing on the list??
Well Maggie, thanks but no thanks for your comment. Good luck with making your own water drinks with sugar and salt! And I imagine that sugar is the second thing on the label because maybe water is the first?? Thanks for taking the time to google search this product, find my personal review, and leave a comment!
